Northern Cheyenne women stand up for Tribe’s Sovereignty
Northern Cheyenne women travel to a Lakota/Dakota business leaders’conference in Rapid City on a wing and a prayer to confront Carl Artman, Assistant Secretary of Indian Affairs, on his preempting the IBIA order maintaining Eugene Little Coyote as the tribe’s president, thus denying him his appeal and carelessly ignoring the tribe’s sovereignty.
